YMEU Building

 

This is the newest addition to Yardley-Makefield's fleet. It is a state of the art 2001
Horton ambulance that we took delivery of in June of 2002. This unit is mounted on a Ford E-Series, super duty chassis. This is one of our first line advanced life support units.


Advanced life support (ALS) units transport paramedics and equipment to the scene of an emergency. This truck carries equipment such as 12 lead heart monitors, emergency cardiac medications, and much more.


 

Patient compartment of 1004

This is the patient compartment of our newest advanced life support unit. Outr"first in" bag is on the litter ready to go. This bag contains emergency medications, IV supplies, advanced airway management supplies, along with additional basic life support supplies.

It is equipped with the latest in Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, which was purchased help emergency crews get to the scene of an emergency faster, and more efficiently.

Our Chiefs vehicle and newest ALS unit both with our new paint and lettering scheme.


The Chiefs vehicle is a 2000 Ford Excursion and is equipped with some emergency
equipment.

Our newest Advanced Life Support Unit is a 2001 Ford Super Duty truck fully equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) gear and GPS.
