50th Anniversary Celebration

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Yardley Makefield Emergency Unit. We celebrated this milestone on July 23, 2005 when we opened the doors to our community an hosted an open house.

Frankford Buck Hospital, Bucks County Campus, celebrated with us and sponsored the kick off of our file of life program. We watched the landing of a Jeffstat medical helicopter and enjoyed ladder truck rides provided by the Yardley Makefield Fire Department.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department gave a tour of their facility and provided safety information to the community.

Merchants, health groups, and vendors were on hand providing information about products and services available to all community citizens.

Everyone enjoyed food, music and raffles donated by local businesses.

Past squad members joined us to reminisce and share their memories and stories with all of us!
